Jesus Wept
Grief. Jesus knew grief. Jesus wept. “Jesus wept,” is the shortest scripture found in John 11:35. The God who heals our pain has felt our pain.
I’m praying for those that are in a time of grief. Let the tears flow. May you find comfort knowing that the Lord collects your tears. I pray that through the sorrow you would know the Comforter and that He will grant you the peace that passes all understanding, so that it will guard your heart and mind.
Take heart, Jesus has overcome the world. Someday, He will wipe away all our tears and there will be no more mourning, crying, or pain.
π Psalms 34:18
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
π Psalms 56:8 TPT
“You’ve kept track of all my wandering and my weeping. You’ve stored my many tears in your bottle—not one will be lost. For they are all recorded in your book of remembrance.”
π John 16:33
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
π Revelation 21:4
“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.
