Obedience and trust

The more you grow spiritually, the more you realize obedience to God isn’t restriction. It’s protection and wisdom.

The world frames obedience as a limitation - as if God is holding something back from you. But Scripture reveals the opposite. God isn't trying to shrink your life - He's safeguarding it. Every command, every boundary, and every instruction is rooted in His perfect knowledge of what leads to life… and what leads to destruction.

From the beginning, the lie has always been the same: “You know better than God.” But the longer you walk with Him, the more you see that His wisdom is precise, intentional, and deeply protective.

God sees the consequences you don’t see. He understands the long-term impact of choices that feel small in the moment. What looks like freedom outside of His will, often leads to confusion, regret, and bondage. What looks like restriction inside His will, leads to clarity, peace, and stability.

Obedience isn’t about control - it’s about trust. It’s choosing to believe God’s design is better than your instincts, His direction is better than your feelings, and His truth is better than the culture around you.

God’s ways don’t just protect you and carry you from harm - they position you for purpose.
