Child of God

 

When Jesus ascended and was received by the Father, it was a declaration. Our sin has been dealt with. Our debt has been paid. Our righteousness has been secured. Humanity - in Him - is now welcomed into the very presence of God.

The welcome the Father gave the Son, is now the same welcome extended to everyone who’s in Him - offered to us as a free gift. The question is no longer: “Am I good enough to be accepted?” Now the question is: “Am I trusting the One who already is?”

“Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” - Hebrews 4:16

Approach the throne not as a stranger, but as a beloved child of God.
