All things work together
This is where every heartbreak will finally make sense. Every unanswered prayer. Every closed door. Every relationship that didn’t last. Every moment you sat there wondering: “God, what are You doing?”
One day, every follower of Christ will stand in the presence of Jesus. The only One who saw the entire story from beginning to end. In that moment, what once felt confusing, painful, unfair, or unbearably delayed, will suddenly be seen through the lens of eternity.
The Bible teaches that God isn't absent in our suffering. He's not careless with our lives. Even in seasons where He feels silent, God is still orchestrating, pruning, protecting, redirecting, and preparing His people for something greater than they can currently understand.
Some prayers will be answered immediately, others won't be answered until years later. While some prayers will be answered lovingly by God with a “no” - because He sees what we can't.
We judge moments by temporary emotion. God judges them by eternal purpose.
There'll be a day when we look back and realize that many of the things we begged God to change, were actually the very things He used to save us, mature us, humble us, strengthen us, and to draw us closer to Himself. Romans 8:28 says God works "all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose." Even the pain. Even the waiting. Even the loss.
Our hope isn't that life on earth will always make sense immediately. The hope is that Jesus Christ is leading us somewhere beyond the pain, beyond the confusion, and beyond death itself.
One day, faith will become sight, and standing in the presence of Christ, we'll finally understand that He was faithful through every chapter.
