Eternity

What happens after this life ends? Scripture says “the world is passing away,” and that every human being - rich or poor, famous or unknown, atheist, agnostic, or believer - is moving toward eternity.

If eternity is real, then success without God is failure. Pleasure without truth is empty. And gaining the whole world, while losing your soul, is the greatest tragedy imaginable.

One day every political argument, every viral trend, every career achievement, every social media platform, and every earthly kingdom will disappear. But Christ will remain.

Jesus spoke about eternity more than almost anyone in the Bible, because He loved people enough to warn them. He didn't come merely to improve our earthly life. He came to rescue sinners from judgment and to reconcile humanity to God. This means death isn't the end. It also means every person must eventually answer the question of what they did with Jesus Christ.

One day you will stand before God. Not your followers. Not your friends. Not your political tribe. Not your résumé. Not your accomplishments. You. In that moment, the only thing that’ll matter is whether you belonged to Christ.

“Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.” - 1 John 5:12
